Russians Fussing Over Crimean Bridge

Occupiers fear the bridge will not be able to withstand fuel trains.

Trains with fuel have been standing on the Taman Peninsula for a month already, because the Russians are not sure that the Crimean bridge will withstand them after the damage it sustained.

This was reported by the head of the Centre for Strategic Communications of the South Defence Forces Dmytro Pletenchuk on the air of the TV marathon.

‘The Crimean bridge does not provide in the necessary volume of military logistics. If still cars, even military lorries, can drive across it, full-fledged trains, for example - with fuel, have been standing on Taman for a month already, because the Russians have no confidence that the bridge will withstand this cargo after being damaged,’ Pletenchuk said.

Regarding the Crimean bridge, he noted that Ukraine has a national position, which has been voiced by Zelensky. This construction is superfluous there.

‘So far it is all considered by the Russians as a joke, but local brokers have long complained that sales have fallen, many commercial properties are put up for sale, because people, assessing the risks, realise that this territory is risky for investment, to put it mildly,’ said Pletenchuk.
