The National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine suspects Mykola Solsky in the illegal seizure of state land.

The Minister of agrarian policy of Ukraine Mykola Solsky has resigned. This was reported on Thursday, April 25, by the speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Ruslan Stefanchuk. ‘The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has received a statement from Mykola Solsky on resignation from the post of Minister,’ he wrote on Facebook. Stefanchuk specified that the deputies will consider the statement at one of the next plenary sessions.

On April 23, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine filed charges against the participants of the corruption scheme headed by the current minister, as a result of implementing it, the official took possession of state land with a total area of 2,493 hectares.

The National Anti-Corruption Bureau suspects Solsky of illegally seizing state land. According to the investigation, in 2017, the current minister, who at the time owned several agricultural companies, colluded with the head of the State Geocadastre of Ukraine to seize land used by two state-owned companies in Sumy Region.
