The operation was carried out by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defence Ministry.

This night, Ukrainian drones attacked Perviy Zavod, a petrochemical refinery in Russia's Kaluga region. It was an operation of the MID of the Defence Ministry.

This was reported to RBC-Ukraine by a source in the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

According to the publication, the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine is behind this operation.

Meanwhile, footage of the likely fly-in at the Kaluga refinery is being disseminated in social networks.

The Russian "ASTRA" Telegram channel reports that 3 drones hit the oil refining equipment of the Pervyi Zavod petrochemical plant in the village of Polotnyanyanyi Zavod.

"There happened a fire. The equipment was damaged. No one was injured," writes ASTRA.

Meanwhile, in the morning, Kaluga Region Governor Roman Busargin said that 4 drones had allegedly "been shot down" in the region and "there were no casualties and no infrastructure damage."

However, Russian media resources claim that only one drone was actually shot down, and three drones hit the Kaluga refinery.
