Xi Jinping And Putin Shrink From Meeting Lukashenka

The Belarusian ruler has become useless.

Lukashenka was quickly denied meetings by the head of the Kremlin, Putin, and the Chinese ruler, Xi Jinping. The Russian dictator decided not to meet with his Belarusian counterpart at the CIS summit in Kyrgyzstan, and the head of China did not invite Lukashenka to the Belt and Road summit.

Why did the Belarusian dictator not please his patrons? Charter97.org journalists spoke about this with military and political expert, head of the Ukrainian Center for Military Legal Studies, Oleksandr Musienko:

– I think they’ve lost interest. If we are talking about Xi Jinping, then Lukashenka tried in every possible way to weave, manoeuvre, bend, and attract attention. What is worth mentioning is the hopes he pinned on his visit directly to China, which took place several months ago. Nevertheless, they explained to Lukashenka and made it clear that China would not perceive any relations with Belarus separately from relations with the Russian Federation.

The Belarusian dictator wanted to play without Putin. He tried this move to demonstrate that he was supposedly a very necessary, serious player, to make it talking to him directly. The bet was that some technologies would go through Belarus from China to the Russian Federation, but North Korea came to perform these functions.

Moreover, their logistics are closer and easier than coming up with some schemes through Belarus. Therefore, Xi demonstrates to Lukashenka that China does not need his services today.

As for Putin, he and Lukashenka failed with the strategy of using the Wagnerites for a hybrid attack on Poland. We discussed it publicly and disclosed it.

Also, the plan failed from the point of view that it would now be possible to scare the entire West by placing nuclear weapons in Belarus. In general, there are no new plans or new introductions yet, so there is nothing for them to discuss now.

There is also no talk of an invasion of Belarusian troops into Ukraine now. There are several reasons for this. Firstly, Ukraine has quite seriously strengthened the border and continues to strengthen it. Secondly, I think that there is no willingness or motivation for the citizens of Belarus and the Belarusian army to fight directly.

How can Lukashenka be strategically useful to the Kremlin at this stage? I don't see any options yet.

– Lukashenka has recently been trying to establish contacts with African countries - Zimbabwe and Equatorial Guinea, but no success there so far. Why does he need Africa?

– These are the same mistakes that Russia is repeating and that the USSR made in the hope that it would help them. They just open Soviet textbooks on international relations and try to do the same thing - flirt with the so-called “global South”.

He’s doing it in order to show that, firstly, they are supposedly not in complete isolation, secondly, that there is supposedly active international activity, and thirdly, they say, the West is not the only one, there are quite a lot other serious players in the world.

However, while China and India are still serious players, Zimbabwe (don’t take it as an offense) but not.
