Conscript Soldier, Who Fell Out Of Window, Recovers Consciousness

He won't continue his service.

A conscript soldier of the 120th Guards Separate Mechanized Brigade in Minsk, who fell from a height, came to his senses. According to his mother, Natalia, the young man is now feeling well, tut.by writes.

We remind, that on the morning of April 13, a conscript soldier who served in the 120th Guards Separate Mechanized Brigade in Minsk, was injured on the territory of a military unit.

The young man was taken to the 432th hospital – the Main Military Medical Center of the Armed Forces. According to the mother of the victim, his condition was consistently serious. The man was in a medical coma.

Ten days ago, Andrei came to his senses. He left intensive care and was transferred to traumatology department.

“He’s fine,” – his mother, Natalia, says. – The best doctors take care of him. They made a miracle. Soon Andrei will have a serious operation on his hip, and after that they will let him go home.

The guy, who is 21 years old, has his spleen and part of the pancreas removed. He won't continue to serve in the army. Within a month, Natalia says, he should be dismissed from the army.

Natalia went to see Andrei. They talked about what happened on the morning of April 13th.

– But, I think, for now it is better not to say anything in the interests of the investigation, – she explained her position.

After the incident, the Investigative Committee opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Art. 145 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (Bringing a person to suicide or attempted assault by cruel treatment of the victim or systematic humiliation of his personal dignity).

– We continue to work on this case, – the press service of the IC reported.

The investigators have not yet come to see Andrei, his mother says. Relatives are waiting for Andrei back home.

– His psychologist told me that everything is fine with him, – Natalia says. – And I, as a mother, see that too: my son is fine. Maybe he is emotional about the situation, but he does not show it.
