Pavel Seviarynets: Lukashenka Is Going Down To Hell Step By Step
PAVEL SEVIARYNETS

The politician has commented upon the latest orders of the dictator.

On May 14, Lukashenka ordered to build a National Exhibition Center at the site near the Expobel mall bordering Kurapaty by 2021. Today, the forestry staff began to cut and remove trees from the stove.

One of the leaders of the Belarusian opposition, Co-Chairman of the steering committee for the creation of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party Pavel Seviarynets commented on the situation around the people’s memorial at Charter97.org website:

- Lukashenka is confidently, step by step, going down to hell.

What he does with Kurapaty goes beyond any limits. This is militant atheism, because the National Exhibition Center means noise, hustle and bustle, the same salutes that are now made only at one, western side of the national memorial (from the territory of the restaurant “Let's Go Eat” - edit.).

Most likely, the “road of death”, along which people were taken to executions in the stove, will go under the destruction. It is in fact necessary to create a museum in the area of this road. It is needed to put, at the suggestion of Zianon Pazniak, a high wall with the names of those who were shot and whose names could be established. Instead, by the orders of Lukashenka, the National Exhibition Center is being built there.

Kurapaty turn into the backyard of a huge noisy something. This is a conscious work to destroy the national memorial. History will assess this in a totally negative way. As for Lukashenka himself, this is just mayhem.

- Today, forestry workers began to saw and remove old trees from Kurapaty. Activist Yauhen Batura noted that there was information that after this old crosses would also be cut down. How would you comment on this?

- The same: this is another step on the way to hell, which this regime is walking.

It’s the Satanists who bring down crosses - we have long known this. The “cross massacre”, which began in Kurapaty, is likely to continue.

Of course, we will stand up to protect the memorial. But now we are talking about the preservation of national memory, about the most important milestones of our history. I think that all Belarusians should now come to Kurapaty – to keep the watch and to pray. The watch will continue as long as the restaurant is open in the stove. The prayer takes place at 7 p.m. every day. I urge all Belarusians to join.
