Administrative Case Against Hennadz Fiadynich Closed

The deputy head of the Tsentralny district police department of the of Minsk haven’t found the elements of a crime.

On April 24, the protocol on administrative offense (Part 1 of Article 17.3 of the Administrative Code) in relation to the REP trade union leader Hennadz Fiadynich was considered in the Tsentralny district police department of Minsk, praca-by.info reports.

– The case was considered by Colonel A.V. Basov, deputy head of the Tsentralny district police department. After my interrogation, watching the video and the lawyer’s speech, the question followed: what does the lawyer suggests? The defender did not see elements of an administrative offense in my actions. The deputy head of the department agreed and stopped the administrative prosecution due to the lack of corpus delicti. We will be given a justification document in five days, – Fiadynich said.

On March 30, Hennadz Fiadynich was detained by two police officers and taken to an examination. Breathing into the tube showed either 1.3, or 1.5 ppm, but the doctors refused to take his blood for a more accurate analysis. And on April 3, he was given the first admonition for violating the regime of serving the sentence at the place of residence.
