Hrodna residents witnessed an unusual phenomenon: a dense cloud of dust of a high-rise building height shrouded the streets and courtyards of the city within the space of a few minutes, the 24 Hours news program reported on STV.

The sandstorm was accompanied by strong gusts of wind. The storm centered in the Alshanka microdistrict. The sight distance reduced to zero. Drivers had to move almost at random.

The reason for this phenomenon is not yet clear. A storm warning has been announced in the city.
