Envelopes released to the 225th anniversary of the liberation uprising.
On March 11, Belpochta issued marked envelopes to the 225th anniversary of the Tadeusz Kosciuszko uprising, a spokeswoman for the enterprise told Radio Svaboda.
The armed liberation uprising headed by Tadeusz Kosciuszko began in March 1794. The aim of the uprising was to abolish the First and Second Partitions of the Commonwealth, which occurred in 1772 and 1793.
