Video Fact: Woman Walked Around Brest With Assault Rifle

Drivers were startled seeing that.

On February 6, a woman walked along Brest, holding an object similar to a Kalashnikov assault rifle. A fragment of the walk got on dashboard camera.

The author of the video, Brest resident Yury Yanchuk, explained to tut.by that he accidentally saw “a girl with an assault rifle” in one of the courtyards of Brest. This scene looked threatening in the predawn twilight. However, the Brest resident was not scared and found a logical explanation for what happened:

– There is a kindergarten nearby. Surely, the assault rifle was a toy. Mom, probably, had taken her child to the kindergarten and was carrying the toy home. At first, of course, I did not understand what was happening: there was an assault rifle in the woman’s hand, her finger on the trigger.
