Vladimir Putin and Aliaksandr Lukashenka will hold talks in Sochi mostly in the face to face format, involving relevant ministers and curators of various areas if necessary. Spokesman for the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov informed this to TASS.

He reminded that “the day of the Russian-Belarusian relations” is scheduled on February 13 in Sochi. “The meeting between Putin and Lukashenka, and delegations, will begin this afternoon,” the Kremlin representative said, adding that from the Russian side, the delegation will consist of First Deputy Prime Minister, Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Kozak, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, Russian Ambassador to Belarus Mikhail Babich, Assistant to the President of the Russian Federation Yury Ushakov.

“There will be a short session with delegations, but most of the time the presidents intend to communicate together, involving the profile curators to the conversation as necessary,” said Peskov.

According to him, the communication between Lukashenka and Putin “is actually planned for the whole day, moreover, it will not be limited to one day.” “It is already planned that the contacts between Putin and Lukashenka will continue tomorrow and even the day after tomorrow,” he added.
