Belarusian Enterprises Keep Trading with 'DPR' and 'LPR'

Journalists revealed another scheme.

Throughout the past year Belarusian goods made it to the Russian-occupied Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine, Belsat reports. Belarus keep trading with "DPR" and "LPR" now. This is despite the fact that an official Kiev has already drawn the attention of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry to possible sanctions for trading with Donetsk and Luhansk. Journalists have been dealing with another scheme.

International drivers confirm, on condition of anonymity, that they regularly carry goods to the territory occupied by Russia. "DPR" and "LPR" mainly receive Belarusian products.

Lardi-trans.com, a special service for truckers, shows how often goods from Belarus enter the seized Ukrainian territories. In particular, it is known that the Druzhba poultry farm in Baranavichy, the sugar plant in Zhabinka and the distillery "Belalko" in Brest cater for "DPR" and "LPR".

One of drivers told journalists "My colleagues carried goods to Donetsk and Luhansk on a regular basis. At first it was profitable, but gradually wages began to fall. There are more and more cases when a customer do not pay for goods. You know that it is barely possible to achieve something in conditions Donbass lives in now. As a rule, goods were shipped with different documents. Some documents were issued for Rostov, and then they were thrown away and new ones were made," the driver says.

For example, in December Donetsk got 20 tones of poultry of "Druzhba" Baranavichy farm. The screenshot of the order proves it.

Journalists telephoned the enterprise. They were told that Druzhba delivered goods to Donetsk and refused any further comments. This year the farm is looking for a carrier which can deliver 40 tons of poultry to Makeyevka, another occupied Ukrainian city. Payment for goods delivery to the Ukrainian Makeyevka is promised in Russian rubles. To learn more information, one needs to file a paid application for freight transportation.

One can see that an unknown firm is looking for three vehicles to deliver 60 tons of food from Zhabinka to Luhansk. A source claims that 20 of these 60 tons are sugar produced by the Zhabinka sugar plant.

The plant refused to answer journalists' questions. Brest distillery "Belalko" does not comment on its trade activities with "DPR" either.
