"Needless" Workers Sifted Out At Belarusian Enterprises

Next thousands of Belarusians will find themselves in the state of "parasites."

The work on sifting out the redundant personnel at Belarusian enterprises will be finished before the end of the first quarter of this year, First Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Protection of Belarus Andrei Labovich said at a board meeting of the ministry in Minsk, udf.by reports.

– According to the data of the personnel diagnostics, almost 6% of the total number of employees is redundant, – he said. – The government instructed all the government agencies, local authorities to conduct personnel diagnosis at subordinate enterprises in the first quarter in order to determine the actual excessive headcount and take appropriate decisions regarding the work of these enterprises.

The first deputy minister added that at the same time, it should be realized that the process of restructuring will lead to the "release" of some employees.
