In Miory, it is planned to install a decorative sculpture "Children of Piece – to Children of War." The housing and communal services of the Miory district announced a tender regarding the sculpture and landscaping the adjoining territory, People's News Of Vitsebsk write.

The approximate cost of installing the sculpture is 9661 rubles. The housing and communal services will pay for the installation of the monument and landscaping.

By the way, the sculpture itself will cost approximately 4600 rubles. The new monument will be 2.4 meters high and will occupy 3 square meters. However, the tender for its manufacture has not taken place.

The monument should look like a ruined playground: granite cubes and a ball are placed on a sandbox, and a granite pigeon – on top. Images of toys and letters, from which you can make the word "PIECE," are engraved on the faces of the cubes. The two lower cubes are marked with numbers 1941 and 1945.
