The blogger has written why he decided to prank the policemen.

On August 30, blogger Siarhei Piatrukhin was searched. To get into the apartment, the riot police broke into the apartment's front door, since Piatrukhin had refused to open it. During the search, his computer, laptop and phone were confiscated and then taken to the Leninski District Police Department of Brest, where Piatrukhin had to explain why he had not opened the door to the policemen. Belsat has talked to Siarhei Piatrukhin.

"Friends, I decided to express gratitude to police officers for their hard, sometimes unbearable work and festively decorated my doors, which on August 30, without any warning, were broken down by the riot police. Yes. As a token. It’s all legal, do not worry.

According to the decision of the interdistrict Investigative Committee, comrade Andranik Khachatran, authorized by the prosecutor either Varabei, or Kaliada, or, maybe, by Valadzko himself – the case is very serious – the slander and insult of an outstanding local policeman of the Leninski district police department, Siarhei Ihnatsiuk, whose name became resonant and recognizable in connection with a high-profile scandal regarding the beating of Brest resident Pavel Kaminski in 2016. [...] So pray at least occasionally for the health and well-being of these kind people who, taking great pains, safeguard our rights, freedoms and legitimate interests," – undamped Brest blogger Siarhei Piatrukhin wrote on Facebook.
