Shoot-Out In Ivatsevichy District: One Policeman Died

On August 17, there was a shoot-out of a local resident with policemen in the village of Babrovichy.

At the moment, the circumstances of the incident are being clarified. According to preliminary information, the policemen came to a 57-year-old local resident. The elderly man opened fire from the rifle. As a result, a district police officer was killed. The second policeman was wounded.

As reported by the First Region portal, the riot police were sent to the village: the man locked in the house and returned fire.

According to the Virtual Brest, two policemen were killed: one on the spot, the second one– a little later. One of the village residents had an unregistered gun, he opened fire with intent to kill.
