Hero Of Square 2010 Gets Injured In Donbass

Aliaksandr Mauchanau has been fighting in the Ukrainian Armed Forces for three years already.

Aliaksandr Mauchanau, a former Belarusian political prisoner and now a volunteer in Donbass, was wounded in the head.

According to Novy Chas, he reported this on his Facebook page.

"About the wound. The metal object 5x7mm passed my eye and is now somewhere near my nose. I don't know what's next. Don't ask me. Thank you all for the care, but there is no time and no opportunity to talk with everyone on the phone," – Aliaksandr wrote.

Aliaksandr Mauchanau is a former activist of the youth movement Zubr. He was arrested and sentenced to imprisonment for taking part in the protests against the results of the presidential "elections" in Belarus on December 19, 2010. He was released in August 2011.

Since 2014 he fought for Ukrain in the ATO-zone as part of the Right Sector. From 2015 he fought in the armed forces of Ukraine. He has state awards of Ukraine.
