In 1925, the Polish intelligence reported about a riot in the Minsk House of Correctional-Public Labor.

On October 30, 1925, there was a riot of prisoners in the Minsk House of Correctional-Public Labor. The peculiarity of this event was its political coloration, which was noted by the Polish secret services in secret documents of that time, Radio Racyja informs.

In particular, one of the reports, which are kept in the Central Military Archives in Rembertow (Poland), says:

"Riot of prisoners in Minsk House of Correctional-Public Labor. A reliable source has sent a message stating that prisoners of the Minsk House of Correctional-Public Labor rebelled on 30.X. The cause of the riot was poor treatment of prisoners, inadequate food, and also the announcement of an amnesty, which was hoped for on October 17 of this year (the anniversary of the 1905 revolution). To suppress the prisoners, a squad of the State Political Directorate troops was brought from Savietskaya street. The prisoners shouted: "Away with the Bolsheviks!".
