Belarusians Killed In Accident Near Smolensk

A minibus and three trucks crashed into each other in turn.

The accident occurred on the M-1 highway in Safronovsk district (Smolensk region) in the early hours of July 5, Belsat reports citing smolensk-i.ru.

The accident occurred next to a traffic police station. A truck stopped suddenly and a minibus and two trucks crashed into it. As a result of the accident, two people were killed: a driver and a minibus passenger. As tass.ru reports, the passenger survived and was taken to hospital.

"The Volvo cabin was not damaged that heavily, and the DAF was completely wrecked, there were a lot of policemen, nothing was left of the car, just dead bodies," – local residents reported.
