A meeting of Kurapaty defenders was held in Minsk today.

Representatives of various organizations, including the civil campaign European Belarus and the Solidarity movement Razam, which are part of the Belarusian National Congress, attended it. Politicians and activists agreed on the terms on which negotiations with the owners of the Let's Go Get Some Eats restaurant, built in the protected area of the Kurapaty tract and more commonly known as Bulbash Hall, can begin, the official website of the BNC reports.

– Representatives of almost all the movements and organizations participating in the guard in Kurapaty were present at the meeting. We discussed the situation and agreed on a strategy for action. All agreed that negotiations with the owners of the Bulbash Hall are possible if two conditions are met: the suspension of the work of the restaurant and the cessation of repression against our comrades. There will be no negotiations with the owners of Bulbash Hall until Max Viniarski, who was in Kurapaty almost every day and who was arrested because of perjury of Bulbash Hall employees, is released, – the director Volha Nikalaichyk, participating in the meeting, told the BNC press service.

Kurapaty defenders agreed to continue the daily guard at the restaurant, and called on the authorities to condemn the criminal ideologies that led to mass repression in Belarus and other countries.

Paval Seviarynets, the co-chairman of the organizing committee for the creation of the BCD party, was entrusted to represent the public's position in possible negotiations with the owners of the Let's Go Get Some Eats restaurant.
