Activist Maryja Rabkova Detained In Hatava

Today, on July 12, riot policemen detained activist Maryja Rabkova. A protocol under Part 2 of Art. 17:11 of the Administrative Code "extremist product distribution" was drawn up against her. The Minsk region court fined the girl 9 basic units.

As human rights activist Anastasiya Loika told belsat.eu, policemen in civilian clothes had been on duty near the activist's house and work since yesterday. Today, at 12 o'clock, when she was returning from the dog shelter in Hatava, Maryja Rabkova was detained by 4 riot policemen.

A protocol under Part 2 of Art. 17:11 of the Administrative Code "extremist product distribution" was drawn up against her. The police have taken for extremism Maryja Rabkova’s photo in the VKontakte social network, where she is wearing a hat with the inscription "class war."

Earlier today, ex-political prisoner Mikalai Dziadok was detained. The Frunzenski district court of Minsk fined him 10 basic units under Art. 17:10 of the Administrative Code.
