Whose Lead Do Caddish Officials Follow?

The riot of workers in the Slonim region revealed serious problems in the relations between the authorities and the population.

"Fish rots from its head," – the journalist Tatsiana Smotkina commented on the scandalous strike of the workers of the Novadziaviatkavichy farm in the Slonim district in the program Razmova of the Belsat TV channel. The workers were indignant with small salaries and, above all, rude behavior of the head of the enterprise.

According to her, such an attitude towards subordinates is everywhere in Belarus, and the example is taken from the manner of Aliaksandr Lukashenka.

We remind that the mechanizer’s strike started under Slonim on May 16. The employees of the Novadziaviatkavichy agricultural enterprise in Slonim district rebelled against their leadership and refused to do the work.

The main demand of the strikers is the resignation of Uladzimir Akulich, the Novadziaviatkavichy farm head.

According to the workers, the farm head allows himself insults to subordinates, delays wages, threatens to those dissatisfied with the dismissal. The workers refuse to work under the current leadership.

Slonim district head Hennadz Khomich asked why people did not want to work under the leadership of Uladzimir Akulich.

"He has repeatedly used obscene words, has been in the state of alcoholic intoxication"

"Our leader does not know how to work with people and speak humanly, says bad things about people, especially women,

"We need a good attitude towards people,

"We are not considered for people here. We will not work with this director: he does not respect us. it is not a collective any more,

"And how does he humiliate women, professionals, young girls?! Listen to what he says about them, won’t you?" – a woman said indignantly.

"He told us yesterday: I will work here, even if you die," – the agricultural enterprise workers noted.
