Only persistency helps to protect the interests of the common man.

Biaroza activist Valer Bilibukha sums up the results of his work for 2018, Radio Racyja reports.

He believes that it is very difficult, if not impossible to do people good acting alone among bureaucrats-officials.

Any question is solved wearily, it takes a long time, piles of paper are covered with writing.

Bilibukha is a member of the BCD party, a man of principle, bold, persistently defends the interests of the people.

“We have a big problem with the rest. For example, if you take the chalk quarry. I have been trying to do something for people for two years. Another thorny issue is the iron removal station in Kabaki. People have been asking for many years, and I have been helping them, to give them decent, clean water. At the cost of health and nerves I do everything for the people. And officials – against the people. Of course, even if supported by the people, it is very hard for a man to fight against this repressive colossus, they can write what they want, fabricate everything,” – the activist says.
