The police failed to control a resident of the Asipovichy district, who was prosecuted 14 times, and this led to the fact that he his cohabitee. So says the prosecutor's office of the Mahiliou region. This is the second case of the kind, according to tut.by.

On November 23, the couple used alcohol, quarreled, a man stabbed the drinking companion in the thigh with a knife - and damaged the artery. The woman bled out and died. With regard to the man, a criminal case was initiated for causing death by negligence.

According to the prosecutor's office of the Asipovichy district, the murder would not have happened if the police controlled the registered man. Their reports about him were formal, according to the reviewers.

The suspect in the murder has been prosecuted 14 times, including for causing serious bodily harm, hooliganism, rape. The woman has repeatedly been brought to administrative responsibility, but has never been sent to the labor and detox center. Both did not work, abused alcohol.

The suspect was invited to the meeting of the public order protection point of the Pratasevichy rural executive committee only in July - he did not appear. And in October, for drinking alcohol in a public place, “the police only made a warning.”

First Deputy Prosecutor of the Mahiliou region Aleh Pimashkou demanded that the head of the Asipovichy district police department must eliminate violations and bring to justice those who committed them.

The prosecutor's office sees the indirect guilt of the police in the murder of two girls in Babruisk, which is now under consideration in court. The law-enforcers “did not properly control the behavior of the person under surveillance”, that is, the accused. As a result, officials from the police department of the Babruisk city executive committee were brought to disciplinary and financial responsibility.
