Pavel Seviarynets Detained In Kurapaty For “Disobeying Traffic Police”
PAVEL SEVIARYNETS

The politician said that the case was fabricated by inspector Aliaksei Trapeznikau.

On the evening of December 12, the co-chairman of the organizing committee of the Belarusian Christian Democracy Party Pavel Seviarynets and the activist Siarhei Annenkau were detained near the restaurant Let's Go Get Some Eats next to Kurapaty.

In a comment to Radio Svaboda, Seviarynets reported that the detainees were accused of disobeying traffic police officer.

“The police officers were called by a visitor whom we saw more than once: he arrives in a car with the registration number 1945 and is always looking for an opportunity to make a scandal. This time, he refused to take booklets about Kurapaty from us and to leave the car at the entrance. He began to make trouble and called the traffic police. This is another provocation against us,” – the politician said.

The activist Dzmitry Kazakevich posted the video of the detention on Facebook. It shows how the police officer claims that Seviarynets is accused of disobeying the legal requirements of a traffic police officer, and Seviarynets declares that there were no demands.

By the way, the traffic police inspector Aliaksei Trapeznikau made a protocol against Kazakevich because he didn’t let the Audi car into the territory of the restaurant, but he wasn’t detained. According to Kazakevich, Trapeznikau falsified the case against Seviarynets and Annenkau.
