Prosecutor General Frightened Former Head Of Astravets District With Corruption Case

Alialsandr Kaniuk has told about the check held against the official.

At a meeting of the Hrodna Region Executive Committee on the Fight against Corruption Alialsandr Kaniuk spoke about the check held against the official.

– As an example, the Prosecutor General brought Astravets district, where the former chairman of the district executive committee had illegally sold a dwelling house, hired his relatives without the necessary training, education and length of service. A check over these facts is being carried out, – the website of the Prosecutor General reports.

In early 2017, Ihar Shaludin became chairman of the Astravets district executive committee. Before him, the district was headed by Adam Kavalko for 17 years – now he works as a “deputy” of the “house of representatives”.
