Police Officers Came To Volha Nikalaichyk Immediately After Alekhnovich Prize Award Ceremony

Police officers are knocking on the windows of the activist and director’s house.

The police came to director and activist Volha Nikalaichyk immediately after she was awarded the Alekhnovich Prize.

“Thanks. This is for the book “Bo.” Unfortunately, I did not get it – I have a kind of siege after the ceremony. The cops have just knocked on the window – asked to get ready. I recorded them on video. They stepped away. So if anything, I love everyone,” – Volha Nikalaichyk wrote on Facebook.

Also, the activist added that the police wanted to break the door and were demanding to open it.

It is currently unknown what the police want from an activist on International Human Rights Day.
