Independence Square ‘Mined’ By 55-Year-Old Woman

The identity of the anonymous caller has been established.

The city police department of the Minsk city executive committee established the identity of the anonymous caller who reported on mining in the Independence Square, a criminal case was opened, Interfax reports.

“In conjunction with the Main Internal Affairs Directorate of the Minsk city executive committee, the caller has been identified. This is a woman born in 1963, without a specific occupation,” said official representative of the Investigatory Committee of Belarus Yulia Hancharova.

According to her information, a criminal case has been initiated under the article “Knowingly false danger message.”

Yulia Hancharova has also reported that an inspection is now being conducted at the woman’s place of residence, in the apartment in the Zavodzki district of Minsk.

“All circumstances are being clarified, in particular, her being on the preventive record in health care institutions,” the official representative has added.
