A criminal case has been initiated.

In Baranavichy on October 30, at about 18.30, two ticket inspectors were checking the bus fare. At the Autavakzal bus stop, the ticket inspectors detained a resident of Minsk for travelling without a ticket, intex-press.by found out in the press service of the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Brest Regional Executive Committee.

The woman pushed the inspector, hit her right cheek with her fist, and then began to grab her arms and finally hit her with the handbag in the face.

The police and an ambulance arrived at the scene.

On November 6, a criminal case was initiated against the Minsker under Part 1 of Art. 366 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus (“Violence or threat of violence against an official who performs public duties, or another person who performs an official duty”). The sanction of the article provides for penalties ranging from a fine to five years in prison.
