Kurapaty Watch Switches To Winter Regime

It has been decided to stand there till victory is achieved.

Co-Chairman of the Belarusian Christian Democracy party Pavel Seviarynets informed Radio Racyja that the Kurapaty watch switched to the winter regime. He coordinates the protests against the ''Let's Go Eat'' restaurant, which opened this year near the people's memorial.

''Now, we recommend that the defenders should have a car, which would be parked near the restaurant every day, so it would be possible to get warm, have a cup of hot tea there. Of course, dress warmer and make sure you be replaced, change shifts. It was decided to stand there till victory is achieved. If necessary, we will be there on Christmas, and on the New Year,'' the politician says.

Important to note, the opponents of the ''Let's Go Eat'' restaurant gather at its entrance every day since May 31.

The protesters were repeatedly fined, detained, arrested. Pavel Seviarynets does not rule out that the recent detention of businessman Arkadz Izrailevich and the dismissal of Deputy Minister of Culture Iryna Dryha, who both contributed to the opening of the restaurant each in own way, are interconnected.

''Maybe, it's the ice breaking up,'' Pavel Seviarynets noted.
