Babruisk Police Actions Served To Double Murder

The loud crime has shocked the whole country.

Several police officers were brought to responsibility after the prosecutor's office analyzed the causes and conditions that contributed to the double murder in Babruisk in the summer of 2018. We remind that a previously convicted man met with two girls in a cafe, invited them over, and then killed them in his own bathroom, kp.by writes.

Back in September 2017, this man was registered with the probation department for eight years. The prosecutor's office found out that the police officers had not controlled his behavior properly. At the place of registration, the man had been visited formally, nobody had been checking if he really lived with his friend from time to time, had not filled in the information and search card. Therefore, on the day of the murder, the man was out of the probation department’s sight.

The officials have been brought to disciplinary and financial responsibility, the press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office reports.
