Warrant Officer Died In Polatsk: Widow Was Returned His Broken Cell Phone Without Explanations

The investigation refused to initiate a criminal case, while the widow does not believe Aliaksei Sehadniayeu could have committed suicide.

The investigation came to the conclusion that military man Aliaksei Sehadniayeu who died in late June near Polatsk, committed suicide, Euroradio reports.

“They appointed additional expertises, but refused to start a criminal case,” says widow Tatsiana Sehadniayeva. “What’s interesting is that they returned to me my husband’s broken cell phone, but the investigators could not check it – allegedly, they failed to open it. The telephone is broken, but who broke it, where it was found – all this is unknown. No one gave me any details, and I have many unanswered questions left.”

Also, the woman was returned the car keys, the military ID card, and the bank card of her husband. Tatsiana adds that she had no conversations with the collegues or functionaries of the military unit where her husband served.

The tragedy happened the night before June 22. Thus, it has been over three months since the death of warrant officer of the military unit #32404 Aliaksei Sehadniayeu. According to the investigation, the 43-year-old man committed suicide by having shot into his own heart.

The military man’s widow Tatsiana does not believe in his suicide. She thinks there are many discrepancies and unanswered questions in the case. She says Aliaksei had plans for life: he was going to participate in the fall marathon, prepared the car for technical examination. The woman is convinced that he would never leave his two daughters.
