Three Factories Liquidated In Babruisk In Two Months

The authorities are enlarging the army of “parasites.“

Two enterprises are in the bankruptcy proceedings, and another enterprise is being liquidated as well, Babruisk Courier writes.

In August, the Economic Court of Mahiliou Region declared the Babruisk Mechanical Repair Plant bankrupt with the subsequent liquidation. In recent years, it has been producing custom forming systems for the construction industry.

And in September, the town lost Babruiskzhalezabeton (the former Precast Concrete Plant No. 2). Babruiskzhalezabeton had filed for bankruptcy itself. The Babruisk beverage factory, which produced fruit wines, followed its path, having suffered the same fate.

By the end of the year, the combine of reinforced concrete structures will have been liquidated. Since 2017, the OJSC Rybny Rad, which is deeply indebted, has been undergoing liquidation.

Last year, one of the largest construction companies in the region, BabruiskStroikompleks, got involved in the bankruptcy proceedings at the Economic Court of Mahiliou Region. Its specialists have built the house - residence in Drazdy and the money vault of the National Bank in Minsk.

Another Babruisk enterprise that has not survived the Belarusian “economic miracle” is Ameha-Liuks. The company was engaged in the development of a retail network, opened about a dozen stores and had its own vegetable growing facilities in the region.

And if to take into account the sad state of many other Babruisk enterprises operating at a loss, the list of liquidated bankrupts, and therefore the one of the “parasites,” will inevitably grow in the near future...
