Vladimir Putin is very outraged by the US decision to provide financial assistance to Ukraine, which could change the situation at the front. The dictator was very afraid of this before the inauguration.

This opinion was voiced on Channel 24 by ex-KGB and Russian Foreign Intelligence Service employee Sergei Zhirnov.

“Putin’s inauguration has already been ruined by the very fact that they approved aid for Ukraine,” noted Sergei Zhirnov.

Hysteria in the Russian Federation

The US decision caused genuine hysteria in Russia. As Zhirnov emphasizes, they understood that this would happen, so they mentally prepared for it. However, the Kremlin hoped that the political struggle between Joe Biden and Donald Trump would drag on for a long time, until the US elections on November 5, 2024.

“Putin hoped that no aid package would arrive for Ukraine. But unexpectedly for the Kremlin, they approved it. The psychological impact of this decision is already there,” he emphasized.

According to the ex-KGB officer, drones may strike the Kremlin during Putin’s inauguration, as happened on May 3, 2023.

“It will be hilarious if Putin drives his armored car to the Kremlin and drones fly towards him,” said the former KGB and Russian Foreign Intelligence Service employee.
